It can be enquired in written from the bank about the FD on the specimen prescribed by the bank. Every bank has a certified public officer who deals these cases. This officer has liability to reply with 30 days of the application by the customer. If the details have not been received, an RTI can be filed for recovery of information regarding the FD.
