I have previously worked as an Associate with the general corporate team at Trilegal (July 2018 – September 2019) and provided general advise on corporate restructuring; drafted transaction documents; provided closing assistance to private equity investors and foreign portfolio investors. I have also experience in conducting due diligence, multiple rounds of negotiation and preparing security documents, corporate action plans, board resolutions and share purchase agreements for target companies. I have also researched and prepared memorandum on company law and foreign investment regulations in India. Prior to going TRILEGAL as an Associate, I worked as a legal intern at their office (May 2016 and January 2017) where I analyzed the legal framework relating to Infrastructure Investment Trusts in India, MFN Clause in Bilateral Investment Treaties and whistleblowers’ protection laws in India and prepared presentations and briefs. I have also worked as intern at NISHITH DESAI AND ASSOCIATES office in Bangalore (June 2016) where I prepared a presentation on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and Asset Reconstruction Companies and Strategic Debt Restructuring. I also assisted in drafting transactional documents including Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement, Loan Facility Agreement, Side Letters, etc.
